Kalmav Engineering Solutions is a multidisciplinary B-BBEE Level One engineering and consulting firm providing practical engineering, maintenance, project management and OEM approved spares solutions.

Founded in 2011 by Ing. Malibongwe Mabizela, Kalmav was created to address recurring plant problems through proper engineering analysis, reliable maintenance and fit-for-purpose solutions rather than temporary fixes.

We support clients across the power generation, mining, water and municipal sectors, helping improve plant reliability, asset life and operational performance.

Founder & Engineering Lead

Ing. Mabizela holds a BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Natal and brings over 20 years’ experience across the iron and steel, fabrication and power generation industries.

Kalmav's experienced team of engineers, technicians and artisans supports clients with technical expertise, project execution and practical problem solving.

He has led multidisciplinary engineering teams in the design and execution of projects, including:
